Mike Grobman Consulting
Problem-solving is my passion! And taking the time to get the details of your problems—be they in accounting, investment, payroll or how to get your business operations going in the right direction—is a process I love.
Many of my clients come to me from a bad experience with another CPA, have had a life change that left them with new investment possibilities or want to improve their small business operations. I’m a great listener and enjoy the process of finding the perfect solutions for each set of circumstances.
I’m naturally curious and a great investigator, so if there’s a problem in your accounting history, I’ll track it down and fix it for you. Taxes and payroll can be stressful. Investing and starting a new business can be intimidating experiences. But in the right hands, these are concrete processes with predicable results that you don’t need to fear. You’ll enjoy working with me as we get you on the right track with your money.
My original home is Chicago, where I was born and raised. I received my BS in Finance from the University of Arizona at Tucson and my MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. There is nothing like running a business to teach you about business, so I continued my education on the job, creating several businesses in various industries and wearing every hat during my experience.
I came to Atlanta in 1994, where I began executive consulting and helped new companies secure financial backing. In the 2000’s, my services expanded to include real estate consulting. As a real estate investor who has managed many types of rental properties, I love helping other investors find the right kind of property for their financial goals and walking them through the many steps to do it right.
In 2009 I discovered the satisfaction of working with smaller businesses, whose processes I could streamline and improve, both through consulting and with the hands-on skills of a CFO. I have made them the current focus of my business consulting services.
Sports have always been a big part of my life, especially golf, which I play competitively. I also enjoy Fantasy Football, softball and bowling. Helping animals is an important commitment for me, and I have been rescuing and fostering Brittanys, a wonderful breed of hunting dog, for 19 years.
Most of all, I like meeting people and demystifying money matters that make them uncomfortable. It’s important for me to form partnerships with my clients so we can find solutions together and enjoy the process.
In the past four years I’ve had a difficult time finding a worthy CPA that followed through a job with professionalism. I am happy to say Mr. Grobman has quickly and effectively cleaned up what past CPA’s had done incorrectly and incompletely. He was attentive, expressed urgency and care in my personal life and business. He was there for me in answering all my questions and went way beyond what a normal CPA would do to get things done. He provided exceptional and timely services that I value you very much. I highly recommend his services and look forward to long business relation. Mr. Grobman’s services are an asset to my business.
